Clear skies and pleasantly cool this morning across the state! Temperatures for the morning rush hour will range in the middle to lower 40s, for most, so grab that coat again to get your day underway. This afternoon will provide more beautiful weather with light winds and low humidity for the Hoosier State, with highs reaching the middle 70s. Honestly, an incredible week of weather rolls on but still in search of rainfall. More counties were added to the countywide burn bans yesterday, including a few in the central part of the state! As we bask in the sunshine here, our minds are down in Florida, as a major hurricane is inbound later tonight. Milton will likely make landfall just after midnight as a Category 4, with winds well over 100 mph. A slight shift south on the track will now put more emphasis on Sarasota but anywhere from Fort Myers to Tampa will feel its wrath with massive flooding from the storm surge. Prayers needed with this one, as devastation will be great in many, large communities. Our weekend will bring warmth on Friday and Saturday before a few showers arrive on Sunday with a cold front. A stronger front will arrive on Monday and into Tuesday bringing the coldest air of the early season, so far. Frost will threaten the area by Tuesday morning.
