PRINCETON JCT. — The West Windsor-Plainsboro South girls soccer team continued its turnaround by capturing the outright CVC Valley Division title with a 6-0 victory over Trenton on Tuesday afternoon. Riley Duguay, Anna Hefele, Maya Montemayor, Lilliana Antolino, Antonella DeGregorio and Kiran Moorjani made it six different goal scorers for the Pirates (6-1-2, 5-0). The victory gave South at least a share of the division crown, but it won it outright when township neighbor West Windsor-Plainsboro North lost, 1-0, to Ewing. Ewing 2, WW-PN 1 EWING — Samantha Noble finished off a pass from Landen Jovolos, Emily Gamboa Ordini made 10 saves and the Blue Devils (3-8) ended the Knights’ hopes of a division title with an overtime victory. Jenna Manolakos stopped eight shots for North (3-8), which needed two wins and a South loss to grab a piece of the Valley. Notre Dame 1, PDS 0 PRINCETON — Isabella Lynch was the hero when she scored in double overtime off a pass from Anna Guido and the Irish (8-4-1) won their seventh straight to take the CVC Colonial race to the final match day. The Irish need to beat Steinert and Robbinsville to topple Hopewell Valley to make it a three-way share. The Panthers (5-5-1) lost their third in a row. Rutgers Prep 5, Peddie 0 SOMERSET — Addison Halpern had a hat trick, Kyrah Lormil and Nyla Lopez also scored and the top-ranked Argonauts (9-0) pulled away from the Falcons (4-4-1) with four second-half goals. Saddie Lawrence had 10 saves for Peddie. Pennington 2, Chestnut Hill 0 PENNINGTON — Sara Chrnelich scored a pair of first-half goals and the Red Hawks (8-2) continued their fine form with a seventh straight win. Meg Balerna and Maya Raghanundanan had the assists.
