GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Family and Childcare Resources of Northeast Wisconsin provided complimentary diapers to families on Tuesday. They host this event on the second Tuesday of each month, distributing approximately 6,000 diapers each time and benefiting around 200 families. There are no income restrictions; anyone with a child in diapers can receive them for free. Fire Prevention Week highlights high fire danger in northeast Wisconsin “We have heard nothing but good things from families. They say, ‘Thank you, thank you for doing this,’ because we had one family who mentioned that they were able to buy new clothes for their child since they didn’t have to spend money on diapers this month. It has helped them a lot,” said Bob Pekol of Family & Childcare Resources of Northeast Wisconsin. Family and Childcare Resources of Northeast Wisconsin also offers a variety of other free programs.
