With our clear sky and light wind, the early morning is turning increasingly cold as all the day's warmth is escaping back up into the atmosphere. Temps dip as low as the upper 30s by daybreak. Temperatures tumble overnight. Keep the sunglasses at the ready because you'll continue to need them the next couple of days with our sky staying nearly cloud free from now through Friday. Wednesday's high temperatures will reach the low 70s. Some cooler air sinks in from the north on Thursday and highs will be in the upper 60s. For Friday, a warm, southwesterly flow of air takes over and temps zoom all the way to the upper 70s. No rain Wednesday with high temps reaching 70°+. Our forecast remains rain-free through Friday. Then, a slight rain chance enters the picture for the weekend, thanks to a weather system moving through. At this time, there's no need to cancel any plans over this rain. There will be plenty of rain-free times this weekend. Weekend highs will be in the 70s but, early next week, temps will only reach as highs as the upper 50s. None of the rain from Hurricane Milton will reach us here in northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.
