ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A Clyde man has been arrested after crashing into another vehicle nearly twelve hours after escaping a police pursuit in Waterloo. New York State Police said they responded to physical disturbance around 10:31 a.m. in the area of Clyde-Marengo Road and Turnpike Road in Galen. When attempting to conduct a traffic stop on the suspect, Troopers said 34-year-old Nathan Isaacson refused to stop, leading to a pursuit. NYSP says Isaacson reached high speeds and troopers terminated the pursuit due to safety concerns. Isaacson was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for minor injuries and was released. EMS checked over the woman driving the Nissan but she was uninjured. Following the crash, NYSP found Isaacson in possession of contraband. Isaacson was charged with Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle (3rd), Obstruction of a Governmental Administration (2nd), two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (7th), Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation (2nd), Possession of a Controlled Substance in Non-Original Container, and numerous traffic violations.
