SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – We’re giving a round of applause on this Young Talent Tuesday to a young fundraiser who is helping children in her local community. WSAV’s Tina Tyus-Shaw welcomes Emma Ryann Wigley and Malena Stone from People of Action Caring for Kids (P.A.C.K.) Savannah. P.A.C.K Savannah focuses on ensuring children are fed on the weekend. Every $200 feeds a child for an entire school year. When Wigley's raised over $10,000 through handmade bracelets, 50 children will have a bag of food every Friday. P.A.C.K. is a 501 c-3 non-profit committed to meeting the basic needs of children in our local community and inspiring the next generation of volunteers. P.A.C.K provides volunteer experiences for people of all ages. From packing food and toiletry bags to making homemade cards, they said that they are able to provide memorable, child and family-friendly serving opportunities.
