Colleton County student charged for allegedly threatening school shooting

WALTERBORO, S.C. (WSAV) – A student has been charged for allegedly threatening a shooting at Colleton County High School.
According to the Colleton County Sheriff's Office, the 15-year-old male is accused of graffitiing a school bathroom suggesting that a shooting would happen at Colleton County High on Wednesday.
The sheriff's office, which was notified about the threat on Monday, identified the suspect as a 10th-grade student at the high school.

He has been expelled from the school and charged with SC 16-17-425: Student Threats.
The teen was taken into custody and transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia.
