TAUNTON, Mass. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after ATV riders tore up the historic Taunton Green on Saturday night. According to police, the suspects intentionally tore into the grass by doing donuts on two- and four-wheeled ATVs, causing significant damage. Taunton police, along with city officials, are asking for the public's help in identifying those responsible. "All members of the community should be outraged," police said in a Facebook post. "The damage is both significant and unnecessary and we are committed to holding those responsible accountable."
