OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The denture dilemma continues for a metro woman. News 4 first brought you the story of Stacey Northrip's battle to get the dentures she has paid for last week. While Stacey Northrip is still without her smile, the situation is staring to move in the right direction. "I've been going through this since April and I'm so ready for it to be over and be proud of my smile," said Northrip. Northrip started the process for dentures at Complete Dental of OKC. The procedure was already paid and approved through Medicare. She's been waiting months to receive the dentures and couldn't get any answers herself, so she turned to News 4. IN YOUR CORNER: 71-year-old woman gets money back after help from In Your Corner Members of the In Your Corner team stopped by the office Friday, but they were closed, so they made another visit Tuesday during business hours to try and get answers for Northrip. Heartland Dental, which owns Complete Dental of OKC, sent News 4 an email Monday and confirmed the office is 'open and seeing patients.' When News 4 went to the office, it was locked and and it appeared as if no one was there. KFOR called the office and was transferred to an answering service who said, 'It looks like the office is temporarily closed, Why? I do not know.' Moments later, several police cars arrived, and the crew was told to leave because the dental office did not want us on their property. Although the office was reportedly closed, someone did open the door for police. IN YOUR CORNER: Mother gets school bus resolution after News 4 steps in Despite the setbacks, progress is being made for Northrip's dental dilemma. Along with News 4, the Oklahoma Board of Dentistry, Heartland Dental, Medicare, and Moore Complete Dental have been looking into the case. After several hours of not getting answers, Complete Dental of OKC finally called Northrip. "Thanks to you guys, all you guys, it helped a lot, it got them going," said Northrip. She has an appointment on Wednesday. "I think that they're going to fix my teeth, I'm positive of that. I just may have to start all over again," said Northrip.
