Crews throughout the metro gear up to assist with hurricane Milton's arrival

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - More Oklahoma crews are heading to Florida to assist with hurricane relief efforts while showcasing the Oklahoma standard!

According to Governor Stitt, two medical crews from air evac in Henryetta are headed out on today Tuesday. One crew is flying the aircraft while the other crew is set to join them in Florida.
The crews are assigned to help with emergency care following the hurricane, includingthe Craig County Technical Resource Task Force alongside other Oklahoma first responders.
The group is expected to be on-site for two weeks or as long as needed.

The Quapaw Nation Emergency Management says, their team had a little bit of down time last night. They are currently staging in Live Oak, Florida with other task forces from Louisiana, Texas, Kansas, and Oklahoma.
