(WGHP) — Fall weather will stick around for the next few days! Sunny, with some evening high clouds on Wednesday.  Morning temperatures will be in the upper 40s with afternoon highs in the middle 70s. Sunny, but cooler on Thursday with highs in the upper 60s. Friday morning will be cool with lows in the low to middle 40s!  Lots of sun will help push highs into the upper 60s. Saturday will be a warmer day with lows in the middle 40s and highs in the upper 70s. Our highs will be near 80 degrees under sunny skies on Sunday. Another cool down is on the way for Monday with highs in the lower 70s. Tuesday will be a very cool day.  Under mostly sunny skies, our lows will be in the mid to upper 40s and highs only in the lower 60s. While our weather will be tranquil, Hurricane Milton will bring strong winds, heavy rain, and flooding to Florida.  Powerful Hurricane Milton will make landfall late Wednesday or very early Thursday morning near the Tampa Bay metropolitan area.  The system will move across Florida and enter the Atlantic Ocean midday Thursday.  On this projected path, the North and South Carolina coast should see very little to no rain.  But the beaches will see rough surf and rip currents late week into the weekend.
