Green Bay Packers honor fallen service members with Lambeau luncheon and tour, five players help paint flag

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - Family members of five fallen service members were invited to Lambeau Field on Tuesday for a tour and luncheon as part of the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors.
The event ran from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., and invitees were joined by Packers players to paint and assemble flags in the Legends Club Room. The event was one of many that the team is hosting this week as part of Military Appreciation Week.

"I'm filled with hope each and every day," Kat Wopat said. "I hope other people can experience that same hope from bad events that life does go on, and we have much to contribute to this world and make it better for future generations."
The Packers continue their Military Appreciation Week events on Wednesday with 10-12 service members receiving honors for contributions, which will take place in the Lambeau Field North Loft at 4 p.m.
