EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Inn of the Mountain Gods will be hosting the 12th annual "Stepping into a Better You" health fair this Saturday, Oct. 12. The health fair will include free family events that will start from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m. and will include informational booths, free health services, as well as a walk by Lake Mescalero. Attendees can also participate in a blood drive, receive flu shots, mammograms, and vision screenings, enter a relaxation/sensory room, and renew their Medicaid health benefits. Registration for the walk by Lake Mescalero begins at 7:30 a.m. with the walk kicking off at 8 a.m. “Our mission every year is to raise awareness about the extensive healthcare options available right here in our community,” said Frizzell Frizzell Jr., Chief Operating Officer at Inn of the Mountain Gods. “Locals shouldn’t feel like they need to make the long trip to Albuquerque or El Paso for quality care—we’ve got exceptional services right here at home.”
