1 taken to hospital following chemical exposure at Kennedy Center garage

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- DC Fire and EMS (DCFD) crews responded to a hazmat situation at The Kennedy Center on Tuesday morning.
In a post on X at 11:15 a.m., DCFD said units were on the scene of an "accidental chemical exposure" in the River Pavillion garage, located at the center.

In an update just after noon, DCFD said that crews ventilated the fumes, which came from a pool chemical product.
