MERCED COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - CHP Merced is reminding drivers to think twice before getting behind the wheel after a man was arrested for driving under the influence overnight. Officers report they responded to a crash caused by an impaired driver, resulting in minor injuries. Photos of the scene from the agency reveal a white sedan with major front-end damage and a black sedan with major rear-end damage resting off the road alongside a fence. CHP says a driver was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI. Officers remind the public if they plan to drink, to plan for a safe ride home.
