(BCN) -- Lafayette crews have contained a two-alarm fire that struck two residences in the city's Stanley neighborhood early Tuesday morning. The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District said crews remained in the 3400 block of Monroe Avenue after knocking down the fire, which started just a few minutes before 5 a.m. Fire officials are investigating the cause of the blaze.
