WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - The Ellis County Sheriff's Office worked on two deadly crashes over a three-day period. One crash happened on Saturday around 12:30 a.m. The sheriff's office said four teens were traveling east on Springhill Road near 230th Avenue when the vehicle left the road and rolled. A 16-year-old boy was killed in the crash. He was not wearing a seatbelt. The sheriff's office suspects alcohol was involved. The victim's name was not released. Customers want answers, claim they were swindled by Wichita-based pool builder The second crash happened on Monday on eastbound Interstate 70. The sheriff's office says Rick D. Grecian, 50, of WaKeeney, lost control of the vehicle, entered the median and struck a drainage grate. His vehicle rolled multiple times. The sheriff says Grecian was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected. He was transported to Hays Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.
