MANTEO, N.C. (WAVY) -- A man was arrested after a motorcycle, reported stolen, was seen speeding and illegally passing other vehicles in Manteo on Tuesday, deputies said. Michael T. Harris Jr. On Oct. 8, around 12:35 a.m., a man was seen speeding and illegally passing other vehicles in Manteo. The driver was apprehended in the parking lot of the Dare County Justice Center.Upon investigation, it was determined that the motorcycle had been reported stolen out of Virginia. 32-year-old Michael T. Harris Jr. was arrested and charged with felony flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle and possession of a stolen motor vehicle, misdemeanor reckless driving to endanger, fictitious or altered registration tag, no liability insurance, no operators license, exceeding posted speed limit and improper passing.
