(WGNO) — A Folsom man, accused in a rape investigation, has been arrested, according to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office. On Tuesday, Oct. 8, TPSO deputies announced the arrest of 24-year-old Dakota Anderson. Homicide investigation underway after teen fatally shot in New Orleans East Deputies said they were recently notified that back in June, Anderson allegedly raped a 17-year-year old girl and a 16-year-old girl a week after. Both incidents reportedly happened at a victim's home in Loranger. An investigation revealed Anderson was a friend of a victim's relative and that the girls were initially scared to report the attack. Two arrested in connection with LaPlace killings of 11-year-old girl and uncle   A warrant was issued for Anderson's arrest and on Oct. 3, he was taken into custody and booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail on two counts of second-degree rape. Sheriff Gerald Sticker encourages any victims of violence, especially children, to reportthese crimes to the Criminal Investigation Division at 985-902-2008.
