Le Bonheur named one of the "Best Children's Hospitals" in the U.S.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- For the 14th year in a row, Le Bonheur Children's Hospital was named one of the 2024-2025 "Best Children's Hospitals" by the U.S. News & World Report.
According to a press release, the rankings help parents and caregivers navigate the challenges of choosing the best possible care for children with serious illnesses and complex medical needs.
Le Bonheur was recognized for eight specialties:
Cardiology & Heart Surgery
Gastroenterology & GI Surgery
Neonatology
Nephrology
Neurology & Neurosurgery
Orthopedics
Pulmonology & Lung Surgery
Urology
U.S. News and North Carolina-based research and consulting firm, RTI International, analyzed data from 108 children's hospitals and surveyed thousands of pediatric specialists. The hospitals awarded a "Best Children's Hospital" designation excelled in certain factors like clinical outcomes, and expert opinion among pediatric specialists.

The ratings were released just days after WREG wrapped up its 19th annual Go Jim Go! fundraiser for Le Bonheur. Channel 3 raised $351,000 this year and over $2.5 million since 2006.
