UPDATE: The FAA issued its initial findings on the cause of the crash. According to the report, the helicopter struck a guy-wire, causing it to crash. The report says the aircraft caught on fire after the crash. You can look the Accident and Incident Notification here.   ORIGINAL STORY: OWEN COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — The coroner has identified the victims in a helicopter crash as Gale Alleman, Bethany Aicken and James Welsh. Emergency officials responded in Owen County Monday night after a medical helicopter crashed in the area. Officials say the crash happened just after 5:30 PM tonight near State Route 22, about two miles north of Owen County High School. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office says the Bell 206 helicopter that crashed was Air Evac Lifeteam 133 out of Williamstown, Kentucky. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate.
