UPDATE: Oct. 8 at 1:30 p.m. The Fayette County Coroner has identified 38-year-old James Edward Reed Jr. as the person who died in the motorcycle crash on Tuesday on Versailles Road in Lexington.The coroner has listed the cause of death as "multiple blunt force and penetrating traumatic injuries."UPDATE: Oct. 8 at 8:10 a.m. One person is dead after a motorcycle crash that happened around 7:19 a.m. on Tuesday on Versailles Road in Lexington. According to Lexington police, when officers arrived on the scene, they found the driver of the motorcycle was deceased. Police report that the driver of the vehicle was uninjured. CRU is investigating the collision, and crews are still on the scene as of 8:15 a.m., cleaning up debris in the roadway. No other information has been released at this time.
