DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) - Authorities are investigating after a bicyclist was found shot to death along a St. George roadway early Monday morning. LaRoy Johnson, 34, was still on his bicycle when he was found in the roadway on NE Railroad Avenue. Dorchester County Coroner Paul Brouthers said Johnson was found at roughly 6 a.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 7:15 a.m. He will undergo an autopsy at the Medical University of South Carolina on Thursday morning. The Saint George Police Department and Dorchester County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
