Orlando International Airport Starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Orlando International Airport will close its commercial operations as it monitors the hurricane's path. The airport said it would continue to post updates to its social media as they become available. It asked that customers contact their airlines to check in on any scheduled flights. St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport After its last flight Tuesday, St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport will be closed through Wednesday and Thursday. The airport is located in a mandatory evacuation zone, according to its social media page. It encouraged people to prepare for the hurricane and stay safe.
