27-Year-Old Driver Pronounced Dead after Stop-Sign Collision near Jensen Avenue FRESNO COUNTY, CA (October 8, 2024) – Roberto Vasquez II died late Sunday morning, in a t-bone collision on Goldenrod and Jenson Avenue. Police officers responded to the scene around 11:30 a.m., on September 29th. According to reports, Vasquez II was driving a white Toyota Tundra when he ran a stop sign at an intersection, leading to a T-bone collision with another vehicle occupied by a mother and her two infant children. Both vehicles overturned from the impact and came to rest in a nearby field. Medics pronounced 27-year-old Vasquez II dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries. The mother and her two children sustained minor to moderate injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment by paramedics.
