The Tony Fisher Award is presented to The News-Herald high school football player of the year. It is named after the former Ohio Mr. Football recipient from Euclid who went on to play at Notre Dame and in the NFL. Fisher is now the athletic director at Euclid. The weekly watch list can and will change. For the season, he has carried 68 times for 526 yards (a 7.7-yard average) with 14 touchdowns scored for 84 points. Drayton Allgood, Jr., Chardon: He ran for 156 yards and two touchdowns in the Hilltoppers’ 52-0 win over South. For the season, he has run for 683 yards and six touchdowns. Shahn Alston, Jr., Harvey: He carried 20 times for 66 yards and a touchdown and caught four passes for 29 yards in the Red Raiders’ 41-34 win over West Geauga. For the season, he has carried 90 times for 880 yards (9.8 yards per carry) with 13 touchdowns scored and a two-point conversion for 80 total points. Tymir Cardona, Sr., Kenston: He caught two passes for 12 yards in the Bombers’ 21-3 win over Kenston. For the season, he has caught 27 passes for 456 yards and seven touchdowns, as well as three interceptions on defense. Sean Dillard, Sr., Gilmour: He caught three passes for 69 yards in the Lancers’ 43-0 win over Cleveland Central Catholic. For the season, he has caught 32 passes for 612 yards and eight touchdowns for 48 points. Jackson Farley, Jr., Mentor: He carried 13 times for 130 yards and two touchdowns in the Cardinals’ 45-6 win over Shaker Heights. For the season, he has carried 106 times for 1,006 yards (a 9.5-yard average) and 12 touchdowns, with 11 catches for 118 yards and three scores for a total of 90 points. Scotty Fox, Sr., Mentor: He completed nine of 15 passes for 167 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for 17 yards and a score in the Cardinals’ 45-6 win over Shaker Heights. For the season, he has thrown for 1,435 yards and 20 touchdowns and run for 87 yards and two scores. Justen Hodge, Jr., Mentor: He caught three passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns in the Cardinals’ 45-6 win over Shaker Heights. For the season, he has caught 34 passes for 645 yards and seven touchdowns, with a rushing touchdown for 48 total points. Bo Jackson, Sr., VASJ: The Vikings were idle in Week 7. For the season, he has run for 588 yards and 10 touchdowns. Jordan Johnson, Jr., Hawken: He did not play in the Hawks’ 27-21 win over Lutheran West. For the season, he has carried 100 times for 756 yards (7.5-yard average) and caught 12 passes for 64 yards, with 11 touchdowns scored and a two-point conversion for 68 points. Lucas Kaltenbach, Sr., Kenston: He completed 6 of 12 passes for 81 yards and a touchdown, and also ran for 22 yards and a score, in the Bombers’ 21-3 win over Mayfield. For the season, he has thrown for 933 yards and seven touchdowns with 213 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. For the season, he has carried 60 times for 941 yards (a 15.7-yard average) with eight touchdowns and two two-point conversions for 52 points. He has also completed 16 of 24 passes for 276 yards and 10 interceptions. Charlie Mallett, So., Hawken: He caught 12 passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns in the Hawks’ 27-21 win over Lutheran West. For the season, he has caught 39 passes for 583 yards and seven touchdowns for 42 points. Kyndall McCaleb, Jr., Riverside: He carried 19 times for 101 yards and two touchdowns in the Beavers’ 34-0 win over North. For the season, he has carried 185 times for 1,201 yards (6.5-yard average) and caught five passes for 49 yards with 15 touchdowns scored. Donovan Moorhead, Jr., Hawken: He completed 14 of 25 passes for 184 yards and three touchdowns in the Hawks’ 27-21 win over Lutheran West. For the season, he has thrown for 1,189 yards and 18 touchdowns. Walter Moses, Sr., Perry: He completed 8 of 12 passes for 176 yards and three touchdowns in the Pirates’ 62-0 win over Orange. For the season, he has thrown for 1,191 yards and 15 touchdowns, with two two-point conversion passes and two rushing touchdowns. Cooper Panteck, Jr. Gilmour: He completed 11 of 14 passes for 166 yards and three touchdowns in the Lancers’ 43-0 win over Cleveland Central Catholic. For the season, he has thrown for 1,895 yards and 29 touchdowns. Ace Peterlin, Sr., Lake Catholic: He caught four passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns in the Cougars’ 46-17 win over Padua. For the season, he has caught 41 passes for 640 yards with nine touchdowns scored and two two-point conversions for 58 total points. He has also intercepted three passes on defense. Bryce Peet, Geneva, Jr.: He ran for two touchdowns and scored on an interception return in the Eagles’ 75-6 win over Conneaut. For the season, he has carried 77 times for 681 yards (8.8 yards per carry) and 12 touchdowns for 72 points. He also has six TFLs and an interception on defense. Luke Sivon, Perry, Sr.: He caught three passes for 134 yards and two touchdowns and also had an interception in the Pirates’ 62-0 win over Orange. For the season, he has caught 28 passes for 625 yards and scored nine touchdowns for 54 points. Frankie Trinetti, Sr., Lake Catholic: He completed 18 of 25 passes for 324 yards and four touchdowns in the Cougars’ 46-17 win over Padua.
