Saint Gregory Armenian Church in Indian Orchard received a Pontifical Visit from His Holiness Aram this Monday evening. Aram, the Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia, has been a peacemaker in the Middle East since 1995. His visits to various parishes strengthen national and religious values and unite the faithful, especially in this time of uncertainty.
"It's rejuvenating the community's faith, he's speaking to the youth, but he's trying to reach out to the entire community and convey his message. And you know he's got several messages he wants to give to them to provide the guidance that you normally get from the head of the church," said Aram Sarafian, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Eastern Prelacy.
After Monday, he is set to visit Worcester County next. He will be heading across New England and the Midwest until October 23rd.
