Good morning! Today will be a lot drier than yesterday with plenty of sunshine and comfortable afternoon temperatures. The rest of the week looks mainly dry, but cooler. We're also continuing to track Hurricane Milton in the Gulf of Mexico...more on Milton below.

Beautiful day today with sunshine mixed with a few afternoon clouds. We'll be staying dry today.

Afternoon temperatures will be pretty comfortable with highs in the mid 60s.

TONIGHT
There could be some clouds moving overhead tonight and we could get a spot shower or two. Lows in the mid 40s.
TOMORROW
Another nice day is expected for Wednesday with sunshine and highs in the low to mid 60s.
LOOKING AHEAD
It's going to get pretty chilly Wednesday night with lows in the low 40s. Many areas could be in the 30s to start the day Thursday. Thursday looks nice, but cooler....60.
TROPICS
Milton intensified into a Category 5 storm on Monday, but it weakened a bit overnight...down to a Cat 4. These fluctuations will likely continue before it makes landfall.
A landfall on the west coast of the Florida peninsula is still expected....perhaps around the Tampa/St. Pete area.
Milton is expected to bring a life-threatening 10-15 ft storm surge to the west central coast.
Winds could be between 111 and 130mph as it makes landfall Wednesday evening.
