ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police officers are currently investigating after a person was found dead on Flint Street Monday evening after being shot in a school parking lot. When officers arrived to the area of Flint Street at around 6 p.m., RPD said a man in his late teens was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds on the porch of a vacant house. Investigators said the victim was shot in the rear lot of Charles T. Lunsford School #19 on Seward Street at around 4 p.m. Monday. RPD said the victim was able to run to the porch on Flint Street where he was found, and died due to his injuries. Rochester police were notified of the unresponsive victim due to a passerby seeing him on the porch, and calling 911. Investigators are still working to determine the motive behind the shooting, and said they do not believe the victim was connected to the school or the attached Rec Center. No suspects are in custody. Anyone with information or video is asked to call 911.
