MONROE COUNTY, N.Y. (WROC) — Four new businesses are coming to BayTowne Plaza, a popular mixed-use shopping center between Webster and Penfield. The plaza has seen significant revitalization since 2023. DiMarco Real Estate owns the property. Old Pueblo Cantina is still in the works. It's a new concept from the team at Old Pueblo Grill. The food truck kitchen inside will remain, but Old Pueblo says adding a prep kitchen to accommodate the new items and tableside service. The outdoor seating will also remain. Inside, they are keeping the large projector screen TV, and are looking to add more. Across from Old Pueblo, Spitale Laser Salon and Spa is looking to open by the end of the year. According to its website, the three-generation business started as a barbershop in Irondequoit. The developers say this new beauty location will still offer cut and color, laser removal services, and even Coolsculpting. X-Golf to open in Pittsford Plaza in the fall A couple of doors down from Spitale, a new golf simulator is in the works: Jackson's Golf! According to its website, the location will have a modulating putt simulation — the only one of its kind on the East Coast, they claim - and a state-of-the-art golf simulation. It will be membership-based with 24/7 access. News 8 has reached out to find out when Jackson's Golf will be opening, and hasn't heard back yet. Another athletic center is coming to the plaza: Empire Sportsplex! It's next to the re-store and near the Walmart. DiMarco says that this business is a sports training startup. An opening date is not clear at this time.
