ND Emergency Services launches online resource hub for wildfire recovery
Oct 07, 2024
BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Multiple wildfires have devastated North Dakota in what Governor Doug Burgum said might become one of the largest sets of wildfires in the state's history.
Some have lost their loved ones, and many have lost their homes and other property in the fires.
The North Dakota Department of Emergency Services, in partnership with many agencies and organizations, has launched a comprehensive online resource hub to assist residents as they recover.
Wildfires: How to help, where to find information
The page provides a list of financial assistance programs, as well as supportive resources aimed at helping the state's agricultural producers and other residents. It is intended to address both immediate and long-term recovery needs, and focuses on those who have lost crops, livestock, and/or infrastructure.
The page also includes resources to support the mental, physical and financial well-being of anyone who was affected. Go to the NDResponse.gov website to access the resource page.
