FREDERICK, Md. (DC News Now) -- Dozens of medical providers were on hand for a weekend health fair in Frederick to fast-track consultations for those who need care. The Asian American Center of Frederick hosted the gathering. Khoi Ngyun, a dentist, attended the fair as a provider. "Obviously, a lot of these folks are here because they don't have access to a regular dentist. That is a concern. The screenings will tell them what they need and, possibly, where they can go to get it taken care of," Ngyun said. Maryland candidates for US Senate see different priorities if elected Ngyun said he is hopeful that Medicare will be expanded to cover visits to the dentist for adults. Blood pressure readings and flu shots were available for attendees.
