WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) -- A man was transported in critical condition after his car crashed into a tree in southeast Wichita. The crash involving a Chevy Corvette happened over the noon hour in the 2000 block of South Dellrose, near Mount Vernon and Oliver, just south of LW Clapp Park. Wichita Police Department Lt. Krys Henderson said officers, EMS and firefighters performed CPR on the man. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police are still working to determine what led up to the crash. "We don't believe that speed could have been a factor at this time. Again, it could be something that's medical. We won't know until the later stages of the investigation," Henderson said.
