PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The man accused of kidnapping his 18-month-old son from a Massachusetts day care last week will remain behind bars for now. Nathan Dorosario Sr., 43, of Lincoln, was ordered held without bail as a fugitive from justice Monday. He was arrested last Thursday in Pawtucket, more than an hour after he picked up his son, Nathan Dorosario Jr., from a day care facility in Canton, according to police. Police: Dad arrested in RI after kidnapping son from Canton daycare Officers were able to track Dorosario Sr. down after an automated license plate reader picked up his vehicle in Pawtucket, police said. Both Dorosario Sr. and his son were found unharmed on Webster Street. Police said Dorosario Sr. did not have custody of his son, adding that the child's mother has a restraining order against him. It's unclear at this time how he was able to take the child from the day care. Dorosario Sr. is expected to be extradited back to Massachusetts as early as Tuesday morning, where he will eventually be charged with aggravated custodial kidnapping, violating a restraining order and trespassing.
