Orlando will waive fees for four downtown parking garages ahead of Hurricane Milton
Oct 07, 2024
As Hurricane Milton threatens to barrel through Central Florida later this week, city officials in Orlando announced Monday that four parking garages located downtown will be free for locals to park their vehicles in, as a way to help residents avoid storm-related vehicular damage. Hurricane Milton, which is projected to make landfall on Florida's Gulf Coast as a Category 3 storm as of Monday afternoon, could potentially cause flooding in our area, and is expected to come through Orlando with strong winds. If you're looking for somewhere to safely store your passenger vehicle ahead of Milton's arrival, fees will be waived for parking, beginning at 6 a.m.
