(WGNO) — A joint drug investigation with the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office and the New Orleans Police Department led to the arrest of two people. On Monday, Oct. 7, the SBSO reported that 52-year-old Larry Caston Jr. and 44-year-old Latasha Young were arrested after a drug operation led to a search of Caston's New Orleans home. Man arrested after shots fired toward New Orleans police officers executing warrant During the search, SBSO agents said they recovered 2.5 kilos of cocaine, about $37,000 in cash and several guns. According to the SBSO, "NOPD also has issued an arrest warrant for Caston for narcotics and weapons charges."
