FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - An old store on Main Street that used to sell antiques and vintage goods is reopening just for this weekend. Mercantile on Main closed permanently a year ago after a decade of business, and its doors are temporarily reopening with a goal to clear out the inventory over the course of three days. The store will be open Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sale prices start at 20% off and will go up to 40% off. According to a press release, customers can expect to find collectibles, furniture, vintage clothing, pottery, glassware, restored and rewired antique lighting, architectural artifacts, vintage advertising, housewares, and more. “We sold off a lot of inventory last fall with our going out of business sale, but the reality was we still had so many items in storage and in our home that still needed to be sold,” said Pam Michel, the store's owner. If customers have any questions, they're directed to reach out on the store's Facebook page.
