LEXINGTON, SC (WOLO)–Lexington County officials have opened a new debris collection site following Hurricane Helene. The site is located at Melvin Park, 370 Eptings Camp road in Chapin.  It will be open from 7 a-m to 5 p-m this week and Noon-7pm on Sunday. They will only accept tree limbs, leaves and yard materials. Officials say this site is only for Lexington county residents and is not available for commercial loads.
