BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- State and county elections officials said vote-by-mail ballots for the upcoming presidential election in November are now being sent to registered voters. The Kern County Elections Office said voters will begin receiving their ballots over the next few days. County elections officials said voters will also soon be getting the county's voter information guide which will include information on local candidates and measures. You can view that information on the county's site using this link. How to register to vote in Kern County The California Secretary of State has also mailed a voter guide for state propositions and statewide races. You can view California's Official Voter Information Guide at this link where you can also download a PDF version. Once voters receive their ballot, fill it out and sign it, they can return their completed ballot by putting back in the mail, or by dropping them off at an official ballot drop box. You can view ballot drop box locations at this link. Voters who prefer to vote in-person can do so at a poll site on Nov. 5. You can find a poll site near you using this link.
