22-Year-Old Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident near Frankford Avenue LUBBOCK, TX (October 7, 2024) – Joshua Bustos Jr. died early Saturday morning, in a motorcycle crash at the 7000 block of Spur 327. The incident occurred near Frankford Avenue around 1:00 a.m., on September 28th. According to investigators, Bustos Jr. was riding his motorcycle westbound when he lost control, causing him to be ejected onto the roadway. Shortly afterward, a passing vehicle struck him. Medics pronounced 22-year-old Bustos Jr. dead at the scene due to the severity of his injuries. The driver of the vehicle involved sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics. Authorities closed the surrounding lanes during the cleanup and initial investigation.
