(KRON) -- A Concord man was arrested on Saturday for allegedly fatally striking another man with his vehicle at a gas station. According to the Concord Police Department, officers responded to the incident at a gas station on the 2800 block of Grant Street at 7:45 p.m. The officers were responding to a disturbance involving a man who was struck by a vehicle. At the scene, officers found a 33-year-old man with injuries caused by a vehicle impact. An investigation, police said, showed the man was intentionally struck by a vehicle driven by a suspect. The suspect left the scene, but police located him a short distance away. The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Alex Lazaro-Rosas of Concord, was arrested for murder. The victim and the suspect in this case were acquainted, according to police. The victim's name is being withheld, pending notification of family. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the Concord Police Department.
