RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Police Department is investigating an attempted robbery that happened this morning on Tredegar Street. At 1:24 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, Richmond police responded to a report of an attempted robbery at the 500 block of Tredegar Street. Police said two people reported that they were approached by three Hispanic males who demanded property belonging to the victims. According to police, one of the men display a gun -- which was later determined to be a pellet gun. Richmond police have located and arrested two of the adult male suspects.
