Scattered showers today with a slight chance for a rumble of thunder. We expect with improving conditions later this afternoon. Temperatures will register around seasonable in the upper 60s. Clear skies overnight with temperatures falling to the mid to upper-40s. Mostly sunny skies will prevail with temperatures in the upper 60s. Cooler air will usher in Wednesday with temperatures in the low-60s. Sunny skies will continue throughout the week with temperatures moderating Friday into Saturday. Sunny and seasonable on Sunday.
Meanwhile Hurricane Milton continues to strengthen to Category 5 with sustained winds of 160 MPH, moving slow ESE at 9 MPH. On this track, Milton is forecast to make landfall, Wednesday evening, over west- central Florida in the Tampa Bay area. Storm surge 8-12′ in the Tampa Bay area, up to 15″ of rain through Wednesday night.
