GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCBD) – Whoomp, there it is! Goose Creek announced the final concert for its 2024 summer season, and it’s sure to thrill some 90s music lovers. C+C Music Factory and Tag Team will perform at the Daning Amphitheater on Saturday, November 2, the city announced Monday afternoon. David Cole and Robert Clivillés formed C+C music factory in the late 1980s, and the music group took off in the 90s with their hit song “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” featuring Martha Wash. Frontman and co-founder Freedom Williams is currently touring for the multi-platinum selling group. And you likely know their other hits, "Things That Make You Go Hmmm..." and “Here We Go”. Meanwhile, Tag Team, a hip-hop/pop-rap duo from Atlanta, is known for their popular song “Whoomp (There It Is”. The duo includes Cecil Glenn (DC the Brain Supreme) and Steve Gibson. Tickets for the concert are free; however, you must have a ticket to enter the venue. Goose Creek city leaders said tickets will be available beginning Friday, October 11 at noon. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show starts at 7 p.m. “Dress in your best 90s attire and don’t miss out on the final show of 2024, right here in Goose Creek,” the city said in its announcement. The Daning opened in early September with a free concert featuring the 90s group Better Than Ezra. Berkeley County’s-own Randall Fowler later played at the amphitheater in early October.
