ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A man has been charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated after rolling over his vehicle with a 10-year-old boy riding passenger in Ontario County. According to the Ontario County Sheriff's Office, 47-year-old Nicholas Litchfield was allegedly driving his Hyundai Sedan intoxicated down Hickory Lane in West Bloomfield with his 10-year-old son in the passenger seat when the car left the roadway and crashed. Litchfield and his son were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by Honeoye Falls Ambulance to be treated for injuries. OCSO has not listed the seriousness of the injuries resulting from this crash. Litchfield was arrested without incident at the hospital where he was issued appearance tickets for endangering the welfare of a child and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a child less than 16 years of age. He will appear at the Town of West Bloomfield Court to answer the charges at a later date.
