FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Police arrested a man after responding to a shooting in the 1400 block of South Main St. in Kendallville on Saturday morning. The Kendallville Police Department, Noble County Sherrif's Department and Avilla Police Department arrived and saw a woman who had been injured, and lying down in a parking lot. She was flown to a Fort Wayne hospital in critical condition. A man was arrested and booked in the Noble County jail with a preliminary charge of attempted murder. The Kendallville Police Department said the investigation is still ongoing.
