VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - An investigation is underway after a rollover collision at a Visalia intersection early Sunday evening, the Visalia Police Department announced. Police say just after 5 p.m. they responded to Mooney Boulevard and Caldwell Avenue for a rollover collision involving two vehicles. Officers report people involved sustained injuries but did not disclose how many victims were involved or the extent of their injuries. A photo provided by the department reveals a grey two-door vehicle facing eastbound on Caldwell Avenue with its front end damaged. Another photo pictures a white SUV resting on the passenger side with the front windshield shattered and roof paint torn along southbound Mooney Boulevard. It is unknown whether or not drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
