FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man was hospitalized after a disturbance between two parties in Roeding Park late Sunday afternoon, the Fresno Police Department announced.
Police say they responded to Roeding Park around 4:30 p.m. for reports of a disturbance that resulted in a stabbing.
Upon arrival, responding units reported the victim believed to be in his 40s was suffering from a laceration to the top of his head and several lacerations to his left arm and hand. He was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators say multiple parties were taking place at the park and disturbance broke out between two separate events.
Detectives are actively working to gather suspect information.
