SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- San Diego Police and SWAT took a suspect into custody after a standoff at an apartment in Pacific Beach lasted nearly all day Sunday. San Diego Police officers and SWAT responded to an apartment in the 1600 block of Chalcedony Street in Pacific Beach just before 11 a.m. Sunday for reports of a man who was reportedly throwing things out of his apartment and banging a lead pipe around his home and neighborhood.
