ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The wiener dogs came out in full force on Sunday to celebrate Oktoberfest at Canteen Brewhouse in northeast Albuquerque. It was the first year of the Wiener Dog Dash this afternoon, and the brewery has been working hard to get this event up and running. "We are a very dog-friendly brewery here, so we see a lot of dogs every day, and we thought it would just be really fun for the Oktoberfest to do a daschund-based run, so we called it the Weiner Dog Dash," said Jana Everett with Canteen Brewhouse.
